Rosamond Adult Literacy Program
The Rosamond Adult Literacy Program started in 2009 by Jo Ellen Alexander. Recently retired from the Southern Kern School District, Jo Ellen caught the vision of helping others in the area of literacy here in Rosamond. It is under the direction of the W.O.R.D.-AV program, a local coalition of agencies and concerned citizens brought together to promote literacy in the Antelope Valley through education, outreach, and affiliation with new and existing literacy projects. Each agency and person in W.O.R.D. AV has a vested interest in helping the Antelope Valley to become a more literate community.
It's Resources for Tutors and Learners.
It contains lots of useful links and resources such as:
Math,Algebra,Vocabulary,English,Word Lists,Typing,How to use a Computer,Phonics,Writing and Reading and more.
